This training course is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to perform Rail Corridor Protection Officer duties in the Queensland Rail network.
The course has been aligned against the unit of competency:
- TLIF3083 Conduct track protection assessment
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this course at the time of publication.
How much does it cost?
The fee for initial training is $250 per person.
On completion of 3 workplace mentoring events over a minimum of 3 months, there is an additional fee of $350 for a Practical Assessment and final sign off.
How long does it take?
This training is conducted over one day from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm and then a further assessment day after the completion of on-the-job learning.
What are the course prerequisites?
Students must have completed the following courses before attending the QR RCPO course:
- NHS Category 3 Health Assessment
- QR SARC
- QR Communications QNRP
