We’ve increased our WET courses

Contractors and QR employees now have more options for attending mandatory Working in The Electrified Territory (WET) training as part of their Queensland Rail Induction requirements.

Due to demand for this essential course (have you checked when your WET expires?) Go Train Industry – Salisbury office in Qld, has beefed up the training calendar and added extra days over the next month to get more Rail Workers into the field.

The purpose of WET training is to give students knowledge of the electric traction system, including how to work safely in the electrified territory to prevent injuries. Queensland Rail staff and contractors leave with general knowledge of the traction system and of electrical related risks and hazards of working in the QR rail network.
