Description
The purpose of this course is to provide learners with knowledge
of the electric traction system and how to work safely in the
electrified territory to prevent injuries. This course will
provide Queensland Rail staff and contractors with a general
knowledge of the traction system and of the electrical related
risks and hazards that they may be exposed to during the course of
their duties.
How much does it cost?
The course cost for initial certification and re-certification is
$160 per person.
How long does it take?
This course is conducted over one day from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm
Do Go-Train offer the QR SARC?
Yes. If you are working for Queensland Rail as a contractor or
employee, you will need to complete the QR Safely Access the Rail
Corridor (SARC) course. You can book the QR SARC and complete it
with Go-Train.
