What are the Entry Requirements?
Each UGLRL Safeworking course has different unit of competency and safeworking role prerequisite requirements, which are outlined in the Course Information for each course.
In addition to the prerequisites, applicants must be working under the direct supervision of an appropriately qualified Workplace Mentor/Supervisor and have access to a live rail environment and the appropriate workplace conditions to complete the requirements of the on-the-job Workbook.
Will I need to undertake Work Placement?
Yes.
Students must be employed or contracted by an organisation that is authorised by UGL Regional Linx to conduct Safeworking duties in the UGLRL Network.
Do you need to bring Personal Protective Equipment?
Yes.
You will need to provide your own PPE for classroom and practical training. More details can be found on the Course Information flyer, which you can request from our Beresfield office.
