WET (Working in Electrified Territory) – Queensland Rail
The purpose of this course is to provide learners with knowledge of the electric traction system and how to work safely in the electrified territory to prevent injuries. This course will provide Queensland Rail staff and contractors with a general knowledge of the traction system and of the electrical related risks and hazards that they may be exposed to during the course of their duties.
Go Train Industry are an approved Queensland Rail training provider for Working in the Electrified Territory (WET) certification. This course is a mandatory requirement for all Queensland Rail workers and contractors who complete work within the rail corridor.
How much does it cost?
- The course cost for initial certification is $160 per person.
- The course cost for re-certification is $110 per person.
How long does it take?
This course is conducted over one day from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm
