Rail Infrastructure Trainer – Qld
After 38 years working for Queensland Rail as the Manager for Plant Performance and Compliance, Bob joined GoTrain in 2013, where he is currently engaged as the QLD Rail Infrastructure Trainer. As our Queensland Rail and Aurizon specialist trainer – Bob delivers all of our track and safeworking competencies in the sunshine state, as well as training in track maintenance for inspections and certifications.
Bob’s passion for rail is exemplified through his many professional accomplishments at QR, including the recipient of multiple Safety Innovation Awards, being a finalist in the T & L Industry Excellence Awards and contributing to the development of the ‘Track Knowledge’ courseware for both ‘Resurfacing’ and ‘Resleepering’ skill sets, which resulted in the team receiving the Training Initiative Award in both 2012 and 2013.
