Train Operations

Go Train Industry Pty Ltd currently offers Certificate 4 units relative to new start and current industry employees that will make them track ready as second persons for loco operations on the ARTC and JH networks (NSW).

Training will be provided on job and also at our Goulburn (NSW) training centre.

Locomotive crew trainees will also be provided with practical training in a wide range of aspects of loco preparation, rolling stock, safeworking, shunting, and on track operations including train operations on the Canberra Branch.

Train Maintenance & Inspection

Go Train Industry Pty Ltd provides training for workshop and train inspection staff in all aspects of train examination, shunting, wagon and locomotive components and operations, inspections and testing.

Training will be provided on job and also at our Goulburn (NSW) training centre.

Trainees will also be provided with practical training in a wide range of aspects of loco preparation, rolling stock, shunting, and on track operations including train operations.

Heritage Rail Operations – steam and diesel

Go Train Industry Pty Ltd has for some time been considered as specialists in mainline and tourist heritage rail operations. We can provide training for locomotive crews in heritage steam and diesel operations with experience on motive power in four states.

We have a number of available packages and training locations, and our training can be aligned to the ATHRA units of competency if required.

As an RTO we are happy to discuss with heritage operators, working with them to meet their regulatory and training requirements in accordance with their rail safety obligations.
